Ice Advisory duties on board

To analyze weather and ice reports, assisting the Masters to locate the optimal routes.

Assistance to the vessels and crew to be prepared for navigation in ice conditions.

Safe navigation, handling and control of the ships in different ice conditions.

Participation in ice-convoy with icebreakers's assistance and safe navigation in that.

Communication with icebreakers, other ice-convoy participating vessels, Vessel Traffic Service and shore-based Ice Coordinators.
